325/65R18's on 18/9.5 with AS 2.5" ???

I have seen on here that 325/60R18 on 18-9's will work, but do you think that 325/65R18's will rub? The setup I am thinking about on my 2004 FX4 SCREW is 2.5" front level kit from autospring and 325/65R18 Xtreme AT on Procomp Series 1023 18/9.5 wheels (with 4.5" backspacing). I have a buddy who works for a conversion company, so staying with ProComp will save me some money. I really like the BFG A/T's and Helo Maxx 6's, but cant resist a deal. Does anyone know if this setup will work? I dont mind a little minor trimming of the plastic wheel well.

Thanks

Nope it will rub and most likely rub alot...

If you want to run a 35" tire on just a leveled truck you need a narrower rim with more backspacing.. You want to try to find a rim with 5.5" BS and try to get a narrower rim as well like an 8.5" or 8"

I really like both of those setups. Tonka - Did you have any rubbing? Did you have to trim? Thanks for all your help guys.

djh, Can I ask you what grill setup is that? And where you got it. I like it and am looking to do something similar. I tried a PM but was unable to, probably because my account is too young.

I got it from Ricks Pro Trucks in Jackson, MS. www.ricksprotruck.com Don't know if you can over from the web?

It replaces the stock grill, I hate the overlay ones... Look really cheap to me, but this one was very easy to put it. I think in cost around 175 +/- a few dollars.

First off...Great truck!!! Set up perfectly for what I like. Excellent job!! A couple of questions though...

1. Any trimming done to the wheel wells?

2. What is the backspacing on your rims?

3. Do you have the add-a-leafs in back?

Thanks in advance!!!!

Matt

Thanks Matt...

1. yes had to tirm the inner part of the fender flare. About a 1" or so. Pics are in my gallery.

2. 4.5" (I think?)

3. no, I would rather the back be an 1/2" or so lower then look at a rake to the front again. If I hauled alot in the bed I would have to add a AAL.

Quick Reply: 325/65R18's on 18/9.5 with AS 2.5" ???
