BFG All Terrains
Hey guys. I think i will be putting bfg all terrains on my truck. I have read a lot of reviews about them, most of them being really good. I have heard that the tread wear can get really uneven if you dont get them rotated every 5000 miles. That is the case for all tires, but ive heard that it is worse with the all terrains. I was wondering if any of you have heard that? How have your off roading experiences been with these tires? Also, how many miles have you gotten out of these tires? Thanks for all the help.

BFG AT Tires
I ride on BFG AT 35X12.50's. I rotate my tires every other oil change and I have had no problems with my tires. I have done this on all my lifted trucks and I can usually get a little more tread life out of them. These tires arent cheap and learned the hard way when I lifted my first truck. Wherever you buy them from should have a free rotate and balance for the life of the tire. Otherwise it can get expensive. Watch the alignment as it can mess up your tires too. Hope that helps.

You should be fine with a 3" lift and those size tires. I have basically the same size tires on my truck with a 6" lift. If they ever wear out, I'm gonna go with 35". I have about 15K on my BFG AT KO's and they still look new to me with no signs of un-even wear. I rotate every other oil change as well.
I don't off road much at all but I do camp and where I go it's all drit\mud roads... stream crossings.. etc. and these tires perform great. I also have a 2wd with a limited slip and I follow my 4wd buddies up with no problems.

Ditto on all of the above comments on the BFG'S. I've had several sets over the years and never had any problems with them. Had a set on a lifted Jeep a few years ago and got 68k out of them! Finally replaced them even though they weren't totally worn out yet. My current set on my F150 have 10k on them and they still look brand new. I also rotate every 6000 miles. You can not go wrong with these tires.
