Backspacing & tire question for Wandell

I know im supposed to have 4.5in of backspacing on my 17x9 rims but is 4.625in of backspacing for eagle alloy type 186 ok to put on? What would be a good size tire to put on the 17x9? I will be puttin a 3inch body lift. What size is recomended without rub?

Those wheels should be fine. You can run 33's (285/70-17, 33x12.50-17), 34's (295/70-17's, 305/70-17's) or 35's (315/70-17's).

Just thought I would chime in on this one since I currently run 17x9 186s with 295/70R17s in the winter. I have only torque'd up the torsion bars and did a little trimming on the front lower valance but with a 3" lift you shouldn't have any rubbing issues.
