265/70/17 vs 285/70/17 vs 305/65/18 bfg at's

hey guys i have a 2002 2wd scab with the 4.6 with few minor mods, i currently have a daystar leveling kit in the front and 265/70/17 bfg rugged ta's on 2003 fx4 17" rims, anyway i am looking into a fabtech 3.5" spindle lift, i am not sure if i will run the coil spacer also, but i am looking to clear the largest tire possible, wondering if the spindle lift and coil spacer would clear 35's but, anyway will the 285/70/17 be noticably bigger than my 265s, if i get the 305/65/18s then i have to buy new rims but it would probably look better. once again will they be noticably bigger than the 285s? also if i ran just the spindle lift do you think my 265s would fit because they are almostbrand new. thanks brian

I think if you combine the spindles and coilspring spacers any of the above sizes will fit unless you use a wheel with a really weird backspcing.

35's with a 5.4 and 3.55 gears is marginal. I'd plan on regearing with the 4.6 engine. I think 35's would be pushing it.

Yeah, the 305's will be noticably larger. They will be about an inch wider and an inch taller than the 285's.
