So its just a coin flip then, if they look the same they should perform the same then right?

Well, there is a little more to it than just tread pattern. But both tires seem to have good reputations in this case.

I looked and didn't see if that you had said this but what is the difference in the atz and mtx, i looked at the wide version and didn't find a 305 or 285 so i would have to go with the regukar on the atz.

I almost order MTX's great reviews on this tire milage wear traction but fell in love with Mickey T's **** Cepek FC-II's cost the same deeper thread raised white lettering just looks like a meaner tire for the buck and reviews are better than the mtx and atz's mickey t's/pro comp/**** cepek/ and cooper tires all made by the same people and all great tires on pics of my 35inch fc-II's on 16x8in mickey T classic II's in my gallery
