need help w/ which tire sizes, which ones to get??

hey i just got my dad's 2001 f-150 supercrew 4x4 lariat because he went out and got the same one only an 07 model, so he gave me his. i wanna lift it and was thinkin i could get a fabtech 6" lift w/ a 2" body lift, what size tires should i get? will 37s clear? i want good muddin tires, but i want them to have good on-road performance as well. what about the Toyo open country M/Ts? or the Nitto Mud Grapplers (i know they dont have as good on-rd. performance, but i really like those). and about the rims i want mickey thompson Classic II's, like 15's or 16's. could someone offer some advice plz? thanks

If you go with a 6 inch Fabtech and a 3 inch body lift, you can fit 37's or 38's on a 10 inch wide wheel. If you want mud tires, the Toyo MT's would be a far better choice than the Mud Grapplers. THe Mud Grapplers are extremely loud and wear fast. You might also consider the BFG MT KM or Mickey Thompson MTZ.

i love my MT Baya claws i have over 25K on them and they still have 60% tread left, they do awsome in the mud and sand, they do great on the street (for a mud tire) cant say enough about them, go with a 16" rim 10" wide good luck.
