No, you will just have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance (as long as the wheels have 4.5 inches of backspacing or more).

You would need at least a 3 inch body lift to clear 35x12.50's on a 10 inch wide wheel.

I was gonna go with the same size wheels and tires. i went to a local truck shop and the guy recomended me to drop down to a 20x8.5 or a 20x9 wheel. With the same size tire. Why would he suggest this verses the 20x10?

I have the Performance Accessories body lift. As for the recommendation from the local shop, most of them just cannot keep up with what will fit what and rely on fitment charts which are always conservative. I once saw a suspension company's fitment chart that stated the largest tire you could fit on a stock 97-03 F-150 4x4 was a 31x10.50. Heck, most of them came stock with 32x10.50's (265/70-17). That's what is great about the internet and sites like this. You can talk to people that have trucks like yours with first hand experience.

Ok, the guy seemed to know what was up. It was a 4x4 truck shop calle southern truck specialist. I asked for advice on wheather to go with the 20x10 or the 20x8.5. I told him that i do alot of long distance traveling and such. What would you reccomend? Still with the 305/55/20. Thanks!

It's strickly a matter of personal preference and the stance you want. Keep in mind BlackedoutF150 was asking about an 01 and you have an 05. Two completly different trucks. On an 04-07, I'd go with a 9 inch wide wheel with 5.5 or 6 inches of backspacing personally.

Ok, the wheels i want realllllllly bad either come in 20x10 or 20x8.5. Should i just go ahead and go with the 8.5s? Does the 1/2 and inch make that big of a difference?

I'd probably go with the 8.5's then. What is the backspacing on them?

I'm not 100% sure. They are the KMC Rockstars. I don't know where i can look to find the backspacing...

If you go to 4 Wheel Parts' website, I believe they have the specs listed. I'm not positive, but I think KMC offers two different backspacings. (I know Moto Metal does)
