Exclamation Bald Tire Question...

i have a very bald nitto terra grappler on my back passenger side...would it be safer to put on my spare tire till i get new within the next month or so...thanks for your help...

what size tire on it now and does it have LS and also what size spare?

well....i have a 285/70R17 BFG all terrain on the back drivers side and the rest of the tires are 295/70R17 nittos...

that's a half inch difference on new tires between them.Does it have a limited slip rear end?

If it was mine and it had a LS rear i would put a jack under your rear, lift it,cheack it w/ a flexible tape and compare the BFG and Nitto.They might be real close since the diff is only a half inch.I would not take my chances even w/ half inch but then again it might not hurt it IMO

and the spare tire is 265/70r17 goodyear wrangler all terrain

Right,if it has LS put the bald tire back on or your gonna f it up.265 to 295 is gonna kill your rear end.

If you have to use the spare put it on the front.
