i plan on putting them through sand and light to moderate mud. As well as a ton of snow and ice. No clay though.

Twintips,

I just created a gallery if you wanted to see what these tires look like mounted. I don't know if looks are a concern of yours. If they are, take a look. Dave K.

Thats a sweet ride you got there Dave K. Does anyone have pics of the 285-75 16 with out a lift? IM curious to see if they look stuffed. I have my torsion bars cranked and i have added leafs to the rears so im not sitting stock but im not lifted by any means. My 265-75 16's dont look at all close to as big as yours did in those pics.

Twintips,

I'm thinking about getting a set of those add-a-leafs. Do you like them? Do you have any pictures of your truck with the add-a-leafs? Are they hard to install? How much lift did they give you? Did they make the ride stiffer? And finally, what brand did you go with? I know, it's a bunch of questions. I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting in to. Thanks, Dave K.

Dave K,

I really like the add a leafs. I didn't go with any praticular brand. I bent my springs off roading and had a shop that specialized in springs for big rigs bend mine back and then make me the add a leafs. They did make my truck stiffer but not by a lot. I only got about and 1.5 lift and i have my torsions maxed out so i think im sittin about 2 in the front and and 1.5 in the rears. I do a ton of hauling with her and those springs help a lot. She doesn't squat like a stock on would. Iwant to put bags in there next. Either that or a small suspension lift. Like 4 inches. I would deffintly recomend putting leafs in. Iwould never go back. I didn't install them but they cant be that hard. I would have done it but the rear end was already apart at a local shop so i just had it done.

I will try and post som pics of it on here soon.

Good luck! When you see all the different choices, it will making picking the tires you want even harder. Dave K.

The at's will last longer and are quieter than the mt's. I have the at's and really like them. I have had them before on an explorer. I have also had revo's and didn't like them in the snow and they were louder.
