Question As

Where is the best place to get the AS leveling kit ? Does it void the Ford warrenty in any way ? I have 3.55 gears with LS, how will 33's affect my milage and power loss.

I love the side by side pictures you guys posted for comparison. I think you made my mind up too.

I keep telling the wife that 2.5 inches is a good thing.

,Dan

Dan, http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQf...ssZsprngbender is the place to get the AS leveling kit. 33's shouldn't affect your milage or power too much, but with 3.55 I'd stay away from 35s.

I've got 275/65/18s on now which are 32s and I average 13-15 MPG, mostly city driving. I'm also running the 93 octane max performance Troyer tune

I know this is an old post, but I had saved it quite a while back because I am interested in doing the same thing with my truck. Have a couple questions for you if you don't mind.

When you switched from stock to the larger tires, did you also change the gear ratio and/or did you do any research into it? Just curious to know what this does to the transmission if you don't change the gear ratio.

I added 2" leveling kit to the front of mine. Do you know if this would be sufficient clearance to avoid any rubbing if I went w/ 33s? If not, what's the largest I could go with, do you know?

How many inches taller then stock do you sit (highest point)? I'm thinking about a 2" with some 33's on my 2005 Supercab but I'm not sure if I'll still fit in the garrage at work.

Thanks!

I know with my 2.5" AS and my 1.5" AAL with 295/70/17 tires my truck is sitting about 4" higher. I measured the top of my truck the other night for someone else on here for the same reason. To the highest point on my truck it measured 78 5/8" tall.
