Question What do you think Wandell

I was thinking of getting 35/12.5R17's pro comp extreme alt's with the pro comp extreme 6089 wheels. They have 4.75 inches of back space and they are 17-9's. I have a 1999 with a 3 inch boby lift and the torsion turned far up. Will this work and how far will they stick out? Thanks

The OEM 17's are 7.5 inches wide with 4.5 inches of backspacing. So a 9 inch wide wheel with 4.75 inches of backspacing will stick out about 1.25 inches farther than the OEM wheels. THat combo should fit fine.

No, they shouldn't hit the back of the wheelwells. Mine don't and I have the same size tires on a 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing.

Question

Should i get the 17-9 or the 17-8 which one will keep me from cutting the most off of the front valance?

It would depend on the backspacing of the wheel. Personally, I'd get the 17x9's.
