the reason you were rattling is called axle rap has nothing to do with the tires. and mine are 15.5" wide and they ride like a/t!

A slightly less aggressive Mickey T tire is the FCII - excellent traction and wear characteristics (60,000+ and 30% tread left) only weak spot is thick mud, which is not their element. Ride at least as good as most ATs and are very quiet.

I have the MTZ radials. They are quiet, smooth, and do well in the mud. I would recommend them to anyone.

My kid has 35" MTZ on his '07 jeep wrangler. they are AWESOME. Great in the mud and rides better than the baja radials

I'm really thinking about getting the Mickey Thompson OE ATZ. But I don't want to change rims yet so I will have to settle for the 265/70R17's. I would like to know what for life people are getting out of these. I get more normal driving in on my truck. But every now and then it seems to find the sloppiest mud hole even though it looks like normal grass just to find out that I just found a big clay spot.

I had some Baja Claws on a Suzuki Samuria and they rode fine, but the sami was so light.
