Help!! I got my chrome lightning wheels

I got my wheels but they have some weird greasy film on them you can't see at first. When I opened the box, the wheels looked nice and bright, but as soon as I touched them, the look changed. I touched the wheel and my hand print was all over it. I could not wipe it off. It kept smearing and smearing as I tried to wipe it off with a soft cloth. It turned into a big purple smear.

Is this normal? How would I clean them without ruining the chrome?

A side note, will the 285/60/18 tires rub against the truck or is this the perfect tire for my 2wd?

thanks fellas!!!!

Try cleaning with a 50/50 sloution of Simple Green & water. That's what I use to clean my wheels. As far as the tires fitting, what truck do you have?

2002 F150 Supercrew 2wd.
I originally thought going with 285/50/18 would be ok, but the guy from discount tires stated they would be too small. I asked about 285/60/18 tires and he stated those would work okay. I just don't want them to rub on my wheel wells.
