20x10 mazzi hulks 2.5 AS 305-50-20

With the 305 50 20s only being 32.5 inches tall and having the as 2.5 would these rub on a 20x10 4.5 or 5 backspaced wheel. I want them to stick out but then I'm afraid they will rub, really want 33 12.50 mud grapplers but think that is pushing it. Also the terra grapplers are available in the 305/50/20 and should ride alot better and last longer. Any suggestions?

A few members have run 305/55-20's on 10 inch wide wheels and a leveling kit with the new 04's but they do stick out a lot. A 10 inch wide wheel with 5 inches of backspacing will stick out 3 inches farther than the OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels. A 10 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches of backspacing is gonna stick out 3.5 inches farther.
You are right, the Terra Grapplers or another all terrian tire will last much longer and be much, much quieter than the Mud Grapplers.

So a 10" wide we WILL fit with no rubbing?? Even with that much backspacing?? How about a 9" wide wheel with 4.75" backspacing?? Sorry to get off the topic.

I've seen a few members here and at FTW running them, but I'm sure there was some trimming. A 9 inch wide wheel with 4.75 inches of backspacing would stick out about 2.25 inches farther than the OEM 17 and 18 inch wheels.

So in your opinion would I have problems with rubbing if I used a 9" wide wheel with 4.75 BS???

Did you have to trim very much? Is it very noticable?
