Need help before Purchase.

A member of this forum is selling the following...

Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 325/60/18R tires on Weld EVO Cheyenne 6 Wheels. They are 18x8.5 with a positive offset and backspacing of approximately 6.125”.

I wanted to buy but am afraid of running into the same issue as he did. I have a 2006 F150 FX4 with leveling kit, he did not but I don't think that was his issue.

Is this rim to much backspacking? I have read in many posts that the 325 x 60 x 18 will fit with leveling kit and the rim size is the same as stock???

many of you responded to his thread back in February.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

That member said his tires were rubbing the control arm and ball joint, but in the pic he posted there appears to be plenty of clearnace. The wheels on my Expy have 6.7 inches of backspacing and they don't rub.

You'll be about 1/2" out more than stock wheels, this may be just enough to keep you clear on hard crank's but it will be close.

I'm not sure if they will fit, but those wheels are sweet, and with that tire combo, Gravy!

If I buy the wheels and go a little smaller (305) I should be in the clear correct? Or is it not the tire size that matters here? I only have to the end of the day to decide. Thanks again.
