Towing

I have a 2005 f150 screw with a 6" fabtech lift, 20" rims, 35" tires and I willl be towing a 22' wake boarding boat do you think I will need to update the brakes? And if so what should I be looking for? The road to the lake is up down but not that steep of grade. Thank you for your help.

I honestly would have upgraded the brakes w/ the bigger tire/wheel combination...You most definately want to upgrade the brakes. If not get a brake controller and a trailer w/ brakes on it then pray. I tow a two horse trailer w/ a brake controller and I need to upgrade the brakes on mine, just because it is pushing the limit.

as long as you got a good brake controller and trailer brakes you should be fine, i tow over 7k toyhauler and my stock brakes with good pads do the job just fine, and i am running larger lift and tires than you, good luck
