Northerner - Could you please e-mail me at ameration@yahoo.com as I have a few questions about your new set-up?

Thanks.

Northerner,

Can you tell me more about the shop you used? I live in the Southfield area and have posted questions about Michigan off road shops here (and on other forums) to no avail. If the place you mentioned is in SE Michigan and did a great job for you I'd be interested in using them in the future. I'd like to do a similar set up to the one you have on my '04. I know a lot of people do the installs themselves, but I don't have a lot of tools or experience so I may just go with a shop. Also, can you refresh my memory on what spacer and AAL brands you used? Thanks a lot!

Its a trip how some of these heights vary with the 2-2 1/2" AS or other. I went with the 2" Bilstien 5100s and went from 37" to 39" and the rear was still 1" higher. Some go with a 2 1/2" AS and are level in the rear and some add a AAL to level things out. Weird

The Daystar kit has my truck sitting almost perfectly level, the front is maybe 0.5" lower than the front. I called around to a couple 4x4 shops and was able to get the kit, installation, and alignment for $250. I could not be happier with the way my truck looks now!
