Looks Good!! I have an '04 scab and am looking to add some 35's and probably 17's with a 3" PA Body Lift. I noticed you added a 2.5" Leveling. I wasn't really considering a Leveling before, were you expecting some rubbing problems with only the Body Lift? Just wondering if i should be looking at the leveling.

Looks Good!

jb27...thx for the compliment...I put the levelling kit on because I just didn't like the way the truck sat so low on the front end . I wanted the truck to be level as well as lifted a bit . I 'm not sure if the tires would rub with just the 3" body lift ,I dont think they would but i'm sure if you asked on this site you would get the answer .I have no rubbing at all with the lift and the levelling kit. Good luck with it and show some pics when you get it done

blkmgk....I didn't go with the gap guards. I like the way it looks without them for now. Once I put the stainless step bars on ,the frame that can be seen underneath will be somewhat covered up . I am really happy with the way it turned out...looks nice and big ....just have to wait to get the new rims ...

Speedy8...thx ...the 4.6 was a bit sluggish to begin with...its bogged down a little bit but not really that much. I havent tested the speedometer yet but its out a bit. The rpms havent changed much either . I use the cruise on the highway all the time and the rpms are only a small bit higher given the small bit the speedo is out . All in all I am very happy with it ...doesnt drive much different ..just up higher !!!

you install the body lift yourself? or have someone else do it?(how much?)

if you did it yourself, would you do it again? i've heard it was pretty bad

Nice looking truck! I am also interested in a ball park amount for the parts and Labour.

What is the biggest problem with putting on the body lifts on the newer trucks? I was thinking about it myself.

I had a guy do the work for me. The PA lift kit was $579, the Trailmaster levelling kit was $200 and the Micky Thompson Baja mtz's were $1280 (all Canadian dollars) The whole job took 10 hrs @ $60hr.
