Best 20in rim tire set up?

I am installing leveling kit on my 05 F150 supercrew. I want to get 20 inch KMC rockstars. What are the best size rim and tire combo? I really don't want to rub, but want to get most tire I can! Anyone have pics of that set up? Will the Toyo 33x12.50 fit? Decisions, Decisions!

If you have a 4x4, you will be able to fit those tires. How much, if any, you rub will depend on the width and backspacing of the wheel. What are the specs on the Rockstars?

20x8.5 with 5.1" Backspacing (+10 Offset) are the specs on the rims. Are they to close to the stock 20's. What would be the best 20 in combo to get as much tire in the well as I can and as wide as I can with out rubbing. I saw that combo on another f150 and the tires didn't stick out that much. I want them to stick out a little....Thanks

Yeah, the OEM 20's are 8.5 inches wide with 5.5 inches of backspacing. Those will fit fine, especially if you install a leveling kit.

Will they stick out more or less then the stock wheel with the 5.1 backspacing? Would I be able to go 20x10 without rubbing?...Thanks

They would stick out about 4/10 of an inch more than a set of OEM 20's. They will stick out about 1 1/2 inches farther than the OEM 17's and 18's. You can use a 10 inch wide wheel, but you will probably have to do some trimming, depending on it's backspacing.

I don't think they offer the Rockstar's in 20x10 for the 6 on135mm bolt pattern.

Then I will have to go with the 20 x 8.5 KMC rockstars or I just saw taht ION style 185 has 20 x 9 and looks like rockstars. So my question is what is the maximum all around tire can I go with....Is it the 33x12.50???

Do you have a 4x4 or 4x2? You can fit the 33x12.50 on a 4x2 with the stock wheels and 2.5" level kit, with an aftermarket wheel you will need the backspace to be as close to 5.5" on the 20X8.5 Rockstar, or 6" on the 20x9 ION. If you have a 4x4, you can fit up to a 35x12.50 on the stock wheels.

Its a 4x4 with 2.5 leveling kit. I don't want to stay with the stock wheel because it is a 17in and I want to go with 20inch. What is the best size I can go with those aftermarket rims? I want it to stick out a little bit. The lower the backspace the more it will stick out? Is that correct? The 20x8.5 have a 5.1 backspace.

Those rims will stick out .5" farther than the stock 20's, I'm not sure how much further than the stock 17's. .5" farther than the OEM 20's will bring the wheel out to the fender, maybe a little past. As far as tires, I would stick with a 305/55/20( 33x12.50).
