So I'm on 35's should I worry about my spare?

I just want to play it safe and make sure that I have a descent spare tire to limp home on. I still have my original tires to swap out. Would look pretty damn weird with my truck tipping over on one corner. Thoughts?

Oh I'll be putting on a 6" lift in a few weeks. Will that matter any?

It's always better to have the same size diameter tire in case of a flat, especially on the rear if you have limited-slip.

My uncle owns a tire shop. He told me that if I get a flat (I've got 35s also on a SCREW) and it is on the rear, just swap the rear flat out with a front tire, and put the spare on the front. Also, you can stuff a 33 on an OEM spare rim and still put it under the bed if you have a tow package, it'll clear. Just call a local tire shop and see if they have any 33s they were going to pitch. Who cares if its worn out, if your limpin' home or to a shop to get it fixed then chances are you won't get another flat in the meantime That's what I did (or at least what I will do when I get a flat).

You can actually fit a 35" tire in your OEM spare tire location.

That I am not sure on. I would assume so but can't say for certain. You may have to measure it or a simple phone call to an install shop would probably work. Someone has to know that.

If you have the 18"s I will have some 325/60/18(I think) in a few days that would work as a spare. Should be 33"s which would be closer and better. And I'm close to ya, you can have 1 for free if ya want

I was wondering this same thing myself since I recently went to 35's. I was thinking about taking a quick trip down to a local junkyard and grabbibg a 35 to have mounted on my spare rim. Hopefully someone will chime in and let us know if it'll work on the new body styles.

We put new tires on the truck Friday, so the old ones are out back in the old tire pile. I will grab 1 Monday and hang on to it for ya. We will get in touch and meet somewhere to give it to ya.

Ok I grabbed one for ya, I know I said Monday but I had to run up to the shop anyway (It's only 2 blocks from my house-lol) Anyway I have 1 used 325/60/18 Nitto Terra Grappler sitting in my garage for you. There are still 3 more that would work for spares if anyone close to me needs 1. Will NOT ship or drive over 50 miles!!!!!!!!!
