2wd 01 S/C Tire Size Question

Considering some new wheels and tires for my Supercrew.

Looking at the following - MotoMetal 954's with 285/60/18 Terra Grapplers..

I've been searching all day to see if I could find a post regarding fitment of this size on a 4x2 with no lift. I haven't had any luck.

Will they fit? Any help would be appreciated and any recommendation would be nice if this is too big/too small..

Thanks,

Todd

Yes, the tires should fit fine if the width and backspacing on the wheel is correct. An 8 inch wide wheel with 4.5 inches should do it. However, I didn't think Moto Metal made anything in our 5x135mm bolt pattern.

Apparently the new 954 model does come in a 5x135 and is the only one from what my dealer told me. However, it only comes in a 9in width. What kind of problems should I expect with this width?

Thanks again for the help..

You will probably have to trim the front bumper's lower plasic valance for clearance, depending on the wheel's backspacing.

I'll find out what back spacings are available and get back to ya... Trimming the valance is the least of my worries..

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the help.

Researching online it appears that it comes in 18x9 with 4.5in of backspacing. Trying to confirm that, but I'm pretty sure that is what the reply will be.. Hopefully it'll fit.
