Can the rotors be turned...

Hi, have an 2001 screw and an 03 expedition. Both have some shimmy/vibration on moderate to hard braking. Classic warped rotor feel.

Question, the pads have plenty of material left, can the rotors just be turned on the trucks to true them up and sove the vibration without changing the pads out?

I'd like to have a shop do it where they turn them on the vehicle...

Thoughts?

Yes they can .

The shimmy vibe dance is due to unequalized piston pressure's in your calipers - usually hapeends on the left side first..

You need front calipers as well..

Replace the brake line rubber hoses too, they have a habit of collapsing internally.
