How do you get the image to show up here instead of having to click on the link?

I am new to this if you can't tell!
Just hit the when you are composing your message and paste the link in the window that pops up.

SKREWIT the tires look great by the way.

[QUOTE=SKREWIT]It's definitely a little different... but better or worse is all relative and subjective. I have to say better... I love it! It rides a little more like a truck now, where before is felt like a luxury sedan. The only downfall is the very slight loss of power and I'm sure it will have some effect on my gas mileage. From what I've read, I think some of this can be corrected by reprogramming, but I'm not there yet.

I was expecting you to say it NOW rode like a luxury sedan. I thought the taller tire would have made it ride better I was considering that tire/size for my truck 'cause I thought it would HELP the ride, but now I'm not so sure. The tires look good on your truck though.

The larger tires are significantly heavier than stock. So, the weight and effective gearing both affect performance.

figgy, the BFG's are stiff tires with over 3000pound load rating. That affects ride quality/feel more than tire height on trucks.

Here's a couple more pics of my skrew with the new tires. I tried to keep it clean for the pics, but I went on a weekend road trip and it got a little dirty in the process.

I'm running the 285/70-17 BFG MT's on my truck and I had them at 35psi, but then put them at 40psi and I think that it rides and handles better. I don't know if would be the same for your tires, but it's worth a try. I did notice a little power loss as well, but that is now fixed by the edge evo. Looks good!

Hey guys,

I ran over something while moving with my motorbike and crap in the back and tore thru my old tires, and now i am getting these same tires, but for 16inch rims.

I have front mudflaps on my truck which tack up a little bit of room up there. Do you think they will still fit, or should i look into getting my mudflaps taken off??

Don't mean to highjack the thread but I am also running 285/70 r17's on stock rims with a leveling kit in the front... So far no problems.

I am running the Bridgstone Dueler AT Revo 285/70 r17 on stock 7 1/5 inch rims.
