Do I need a leveling kit?

Thinking bout purchasing some Moto Metals 951s with an 18mm offset. The tires will be some Nitto Terra Grapplers size 305/50/20. I don't know the backspacing of this combo. I was EVENTUALLY gonna add the leveling kit. Do I need it to make this combo work??

Yuppers ...I have the 305/55/20's and the leveling kit is a must. Plus it's $80.00 and about 1.5 hours to install, so you might as well get it out of the way.

You should search this site there is tons of info to get your head around! But heres what I know....ebay has the AS (autospring) for about $90.00 shipped. The AS seems to be the favorite around here but there are more options. Also check the clasifieds on this site for some good deals. It will all depend on the shop but I think I've seen anywhere from 200-350 bucks installed and alignment performed....which is a must after the level kit install. It is a simple DIY project if you have the tools, time and a little mechanical know how.
I think the general rule of thumb is 2" for 4x2 and 2.5 for 4x4. Like I said do some searching around here and you will get all the good info, ins and outs and ups and downs of the level kit project.

I know it'll look better with the leveling kit but I'm not so sure it will be needed. Notice he said 305/50/20 not 305/55/20 like Shane's, so his tire would actually only be a 32 and with a positive offset of 18mm I think it will work without it, just my cent and a half (Taxes )
