2003 F150 Rear Break Wear

I have a 2003 F150 Supercrew FX4 4x4. It has approximately 95,000 miles. I have changed the front disc pads twice and the rear disc pads still show basically no wear. I pulled both calipers and verified the pistons in both calipers are not frozen / stuck, they will extend and compress fully. I manually bled the lines at all 4 wheels. I am not a mechanic but do a lot of the basic maintenance on my vehicles and this one has me stumped. What am I missing here? Do the rear brakes on this vehicle not provide as much braking as the front brakes. Is there some type of proportioning valve to adjust rear versus front braking pressure. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

the front brakes on most vehicles do id say 70% of the work. youd know if you had a problem beacuse youd be going thru front brakes like crazy.

I have a 2002 and I replace my rear pads once for every two times I change the front. Don't worry they will wear just not as fast.

Thank you for the responses. But what concerns me is that the rear pads and discs look like they have almost no wear. I bought a new boat last year that is approximately 6,000lbs and went through a set of front pads in a single summer, part of which I think is a problem with my boat trailer surge braking system which I am having looked at right now. Are there any other adjustments or components that have an affect on the amount of front versus rear braking pressure?

if you went thru a set of front pads in one summer thats not good. even cheapo pads shouldnt go that quick. do you have 4 wheel a.b.s?? if so something could br wrong with the modulator all that valving stuff is in there i think.
