Toyo or BFG mt

For a 2004 4x4 5.4 I am trying to decide on tires and wheels. Anyways I think i have narrowed it down to Toyo or BFG mt's. I need a tire that is decent on the road, and i have heard these both perform well. These will be 35x12.50. Any thoughts on these would be great.

Toyos

I think you will get about 99% reply to get the Toyos. I know they are a GREAT tire, and the BFG is a GOOD tire. But I myself just can't pay the extra for the Toyo. I am in the same boat right now trying to decide what tires to buy. I am looking at 35/12.50/17s, and the Toyos are $75-$100 ea. more. I just can't justify that much more money. I mean I am looking at $250 for the BFG Muds, and the Toyo MTs are $325-$375. And I think if taken care of they will both last 50k. But I'm sure the Toyo will ride/drive better.

I'm extremely happy with mine, minimal road noise for a mudder.

Both are excellent tires. You really can't go wrong with either. However, the Toyo's are quieter on the pavement.

They are the 285s. I have a 2" AS leveling kit on the truck so I wish I would have gone with a little bit of a bigger tire. This is my 3rd set of mud terrains; I went through 2 sets on my old cherokee. I wouldn't say the tires are loud but I guess I may be used to them since I have had mud terrains on all my vehicles for the past 5 years. I love them and think they look real good on the truck.

I'm also running the mud terrains and I highly recommend them. I have no experience with the toyos though, but I hear they are just as good.
