How well do Aftermarket Wheels hold up???
I really like the stock 20's that I ordered my truck with but after seeing all the pics of members with the aftermarket wheels (Chrome 20" MM 951's in particular) I am really leaning towards going that route.
If I was to get a set of aftermarket wheels they would be on the truck year round and I am worried about the chrome pitting or rusting due to the salty roads.
I am just curious as to how well they hold up in the winter weather conditions?
Also, what would I need to do to prevent the TPMS light from always being on?
Thanks for the help.

I worry about the same thing in the winter. Iowa winters really suck and they seem to put down a ton of salt. I am leaning towards getting a black wheel. Seems that they should hold up better then chrome. I really want to go with chrome, but I am concerned about ruining them in the winter. I guess you could always use the stock wheels in the winter.
I wonder how good black painted wheels hold up in the winter though......Might have problems with anything but stock with the salt in the winter..........
