Wheel Spacers or Adapters

On the newer f150s some of the suspension lifts increase the front track with by 3/4 of an inch on each side in the front and the back tires are more in the wheel wells... looks stupid!

anyway, i cant find a spacer or an adapter that put the tires about an inch... i found some adapters on ebay that were 2"s but that's gonna be too much.

any help?

Spacers/adapters are OK on light vehicles (when used within reasonable limits). On a full-size truck? I would never do it. I'd be concerned about failure of the ring under load letting the tire flop.

I was wondering the same thing. If it would be safe to use a set of 1.25"-1.5" adaptors on the rear and how would that affect the balancing.

Also interested in this as well - My Fabtech puts the wheels out 3/4 inch in the front and was wondering about a spacer for the rear to even things out.

SPacer out back is probably OK, just don't try cheaping out... you'll pay more for good materials - figure $100 or so for a pair - they'll probably be adapters, even though it's the same pattern. Best technique (IMHO) would be to get long lugs and use spacers, and adapter can crack out in the lug area, where a spacer just pushes the wheel out.

the safest I've heard you can go on a spacer is 1/4".
So where can I buy longer lugs at so I could use a 1" spacer?
