hi so uhmm this 85 F250 2wd i just got it has aluminum dual piston front calipers

was this a factory setup, was it common

when did they get these on them from factory ?
i mean only with a certain package or GVAW or ?
if so then what/which ?

ive never had or seen a light duty classification truck with such calipers before

new one on me, and i have owned billions of trucks over the years, but mostly GM ones, and they didnt have dual piston calipers ever

and chrysler i have no idea if they ever did


i like to learn new info and wanted to find out what i could regardless

I think most F250s & all 350s-up got dual-piston calipers, but I don't think it should be Al. The Haynes manual will tell you just about everything you need to know.
