Suggestions for my New '07 F150 Screw 4X4

Hello all, new to the board. I am picking up my '07 f150 Screw Lariat 4X4 tomorrow. I am very excited, as you can imagine.

I have another one of those tires and wheels questions. I have read lots of posts, but just don't understand the offset thing. So here is what I am looking at doing, your thoughts are much appreciated.

I am going to have a ready lift 2 1/2" leveling kit installed.

I am trying to determine if I can fit 35's or if I am stuck with 33's.

I am considering a set of 20"X 10" Giovanna Sette Wheels, I believe the back spacing is 30mm. Will I be able to fit 33's (305/55/20) or 35's(with minimal rub) with those rims? Tires under consideration are BFGs, Toyos, Nittos, and Mickey Thompsons.

Everyones help is much appreciated.

As a general rule with a leveling kit on the new 4x4's you can fit 35x12.50's using the OEM wheels or 33's with aftermarket wheels. Since you want aftermarket wheels, go with 33's. The offset of those wheels is 30mm. Backspacing is the distance from the wheels mounting surface (where it bolts to the hub) to it's rear lip. It is much easier to understand than offset, which is the distance from the wheels mounting surface to the center of the wheel. The OEM wheels have 5.5 inches of backspacing, so I'd suggest staying close to that.

Looks like you are going for the street look. You might want to look into 22's. Have seen some truck in the street scene section and they look pretty good. The 20's look to small.

Also, nothing against the Readylift (it's pretty hard to make a bad leveling kit), but the prices I've seen on them are pretty high considering everyone else is around $100 or less.

Go with the 35's drive the crap out of them and if you dont like them in the long run just get 33's next time . I like my 33's but wonder how it would look and ride with 35's. I hate tire rub thats the only reason I went with the 33's.

EDIT: AS level kit is only $90.00 shipped

You can split the difference and go with 305x65x18's on a stock or aftermarket wheel. These are close to 34 inches. Look's great on a leveled 4x4.
