Tool needed for caliper removal

I have not done the pads before on my '98 2wd, can someone please tell me what I need to use on the caliper bolts to get them loose?

Don't want to have to make a second trip to parts store.

No because I did not have time before leaving today.

It should be a T45 Torx or a regular old 13mm bolt. The caliper bracket to spindle bolts are 18mm.

Thank you. Hopefully I've got something in the garage.

I did my brakes on my 1997 yesterday and it was a 13mm holding it to the braket and like said a 18mm holding the braket to the spindle.

The braket does need to come off, but it's not a difficult job.

Good luck,
Doug

Yeah they were 13 and 18 and shoes came off easy. But the stupid punk at Napa gave me the wrong pads.
