Need Some Help on My Lift

Im trying to get 35's under my '97 f150 without doin any fender trimming. i know that i am going to get a 3 inch body lift but i will need it a little higher than that. So im thinking about putting add a leafs in the front to raise it about another 2 inches and matching that in the back with lift blocks. Would doing this make my truck ride like crap?

Another idea i had was to crank my torsion bars up and put lift blocks to match in the back. ive looked around at add a leafs for 1997 f150's and they only are made for the rear

All you need to fit 35x12.50's on a 97-03 4x4 is a 3 inch body lift. If you use a 10 inch wide wheel, you will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's valance, but you will not have to trim the fenders.
