Exclamation 33in tire fit

Im trying to fit 33 by 12.50 inch tires om my stock 98 f-150 and dont know if in need to lift it at all. I might crank up the torsion bars or by the leveling springs but dont know if they will fit with just the leveling springs. what should i do and what would be better for my truck. and a body lift is out of the question.

Thanks

If its a 4 wheel drive you can fit 33's under it. I dont reccomend the 12.5 inch wide tire on the stock rim. A 10inch wide rim with 4.5" backspacing is very nice.

It has to be 4wheel drive to have torison bars.... I got 34s and 12.5 wide tire on stock rim. Haven't had a problem even when I go out wheelin I air down to 15lbs and still don't have a problem. Get them you will be happy.

Anyone have pics of 285/75 on stock 16's...from the tread...I want to see how much they bulge beyond the 7" rims.

I am thinking of going with the 285 MTZ on my stock 16x7.

Not a good pic, but here is my Screw at stock height with the OEM 16x7's and 285/75-16 BFG AT KO's.

Thanks Wendell...Do they stick out much past the rim lip (wheel face) ?

I can't decide if I want to spend the cash on a set of 16x8 and use the 285's or just use my stock 16x7 with them.

I just bought some black 16x8 rock crawling rims for some 285/75/16 BFG All Terrains. I really like the look, and the rims were only 50 bucks a piece. Sorry, don't have them mounted yet, JEGS sent me the wrong size lug nuts . I've seen some other pics of that set-up and it looks really good on stock trucks .

They look fine on the OEM wheels. If money is an issue, mount them on the OEM wheels while you save your money for a nice set of aftermarket wheels.

Yup! Money is sort of an issue, I have a budget I am trying to stay close to. I really like the black wheels and the MTZ's but am now also considering the Pro Comp X-MT...they have $100 off a set from 4WP.
