Looks like Pro Comp does make some black wheels in the 8" width. The backspacing on these is 4.5" which i think will make the wheels stick out around 1.5" more than stock and the tires about 2" more than stock. I was able to find some pics in BigBlueFX4's gallery of the Pro Comp 17x8 (4.5" bs)mounted. His tires are a little narrower than the 35x12.50's.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but is it possible to go with the ultras 17x8 with 5.5" bs and use some sort of spacer (preferably 1/2") to essentially make the the backspacing 5" even? This would seem to fit the reccommendations of Fabtech and help me avoid the fender flares??

Maybe i'm sweating this too much and i would be ok with the Pro Comp 8089's i mentioned above. Check Out BigBlueFX4's gallery and see what you think.
