I have weld racing forged wheels. and they just look horrible! I cant them to look chrome at all! They just look dull. anyone know how i could get these rims to shine again?!?!

 

thats the problem with polished aluminum wheels, they dull really easily. get some Mother's polish (or any aluminum polish) and some rags, and a lot of elbow grease and go polish them!! with some work they'll look as good as new

 

A Mother's Powerball attachment for your drill will make the job easier.

 

in most areas there are shops that polish "professionally". I've seen them really bring some wheels back from the dead. unless you're going for absolute show quality, i've had great luck with the power ball.

 

or to make them look good and good for ever...take them and have them chromed and be done with it...if not you will need about 15 mins/rim/month to stay on top of alum wheels to look good, if they are too far gone could take a hour/rim to look right, then 15 min/rim/month to maintain them. so at about $100/rim to chrome vs 1 hr/month to clean...end of the year thats at least 12hrs of labor... 12 hrs vs $400, whats your time worth???
