275/60/20 or 305/55/20??

275/60/20 or 305/55/20??
I am looking at the cooper zeon ltz in a 275/60/20 or 305/55/20. The difference in diameter is 32.99" and
33.20", width 10.82" and 12.00", sidewall height 6.49" or
6.60". Also, the rim width range says 7.5 to 9.5 for the 275 and 9 to 10 for the 305. I will be putting these on the stock 20's which or only 8.5 inches, would the 305 work? There is a difference of $85 per tire for the 2, the 275 is not that much smaller than the 305, is the 305 really worth $340 more for the set??? Thanks for your input.
