BFG 305/65/R18 pics?

I am looking at getting some BFG AT K/O All-terrain tires and I wanted to see if you any of you had any pics of them on your trucks?

Is $1100 to much to pay for the tires? That is the price I have been quoted.

Thanks.

Stragum, that sound's like a great price for those tires. I would jump on 'em! They look great on a leveled 4x4 on the stock wheels.

If you dont already have rims and are also looking for some, I have the next size down with some 18X9.5 Helo Maxx 6 rims for sale. If you dont mind a little smaller, you can save alot of $$.

You can also go to the classified section of the site and see if anyone else has anything for sale. Maybe youll get lucky.

1 more question guys.

How do these tires ride?

I mean I have a neighbor who has 305/65/R16's on his (cough) Silverado(cough) and he says he will never use the tires again. He said the rides was just to rough.

What do you guys say? Is it a rough ride?

They do ride some what rough and stiff vs those factory mushrooms. But you have to remember they are a allterrain tire and the 305's are a E rated tire (10 ply) that is what makes them ride stiff. If you are worried about ride you might want to stay with a 285 tire they would not ride as stiff (D rated). Hope this helps. Just so you know I would buy the 305's again.

I was worried about that myself but I bit the bullet anyways and I can't say that I regret the decision. I had never had an E rated tire before but after that I wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Well guys, I will not be getting a set of the 305's. Tried them on this morning and they waaaay are to big for my truck. I had room on the front, but the back tire was touching my mud guard, which I do not want to take off.

Tried on some 285/65/18 and they were perfect. About 1" inch taller than the tire I have now 275/65/18. The 285 tire looked taller to me.

So I will be getting some 285's now.

The price I was quoted is $1106 which includes putting the new tires on my existing stock rims, taxes etc.

Sorry. No pics LSU. Didn't have time to take any pics.

I already spent the morning getting an oil change, tire rotation and balance, front end alignment check(left toe was outta line a litte, so I got that fixed) then I replaced my stock pads with some Akebono pads.

It was a busy morning today.
