Break help!

hey everyone
Just finished gettin my car back from the shop because i had gotten work done on the suspension. When i got it back they broke the emegency brake cable and they said it would take a few days to get the part is to fix it. i drove it anyway and it had a squeal/grinding when i break that it sounded like it was coming from the front passanger side where the suspension was fixed. i brougt it back to get fixed and they said replacing the emegency cable would fix the squeal. well it dident. i dident want to bring it back to that shop again because they took forever. well i tried to fix it my self took the the setup off and cleaned it using break cleaner and sprayed the back of the break pads with break quiet. Still squeals! there is no unusual wear in the pad, rotor or caliper and everything is 2 months old. Any ideas of what it could be?

It could be because you are working on the breaks and it is the brakes that are squealing! Just kidding. You might try lubricating the bolts that hold the calipers on. The calipers have to slide freely on the bolts as you press the pedal and release, always lube these.

You may have "glazed" the pads. Try a little sand paper on them.
