hello all i need some opinions on my 2004 f150 xlt....it starts off with the dash lights,headlights,and ac runnign without keys in it....so i took to dealership..there telling me water got into the abs module and fried it and that its 1500 to replace it...and 500 for some connector....first they said water got int he fuse boc and cooked it, now there saying the abs thing...anyway im wondering if there trying to rip me off or not....thanks for any help

 

It's the GEM module, not the ABS module.

Very common.

Get the widshield leak fixed first.
