I was washing my truck the other days and washing the inside of the rims as they were full of mud. I noticed that the inside of the rims are starting to peel. I have the 18" chrome factory wheels that came with part of the chrome option for the lariat. The truck is still under warranty. Do you think I should take it to the dealer and get a new rim or is this normal?

 

I would try to get them warrantied.

 

I wouldn't think that is normal and would take it back ASAP. The dealership should be able to help you out.
