IMO black wheels look like dirty wheels and don't do anything to make a truck stand out, it's like they're just there. A nice pair of chrome wheels shined nice and bright make it stand out so much. To me it's well worth it to spend a couple extra hundred $$$$ and get what I really want rather than just settling for what I can afford. It's your truck though and you'll have to live with your decision in the end.

You got what YOU wanted and that's great! My comment was for Speedy8 and his statement about originally wanting chrome, but they were more expensive. My point was don't simply settle for what you can afford, save a little extra and get what you really want.

Go with black, they may not stand out as much but they stay cleaner looking over all. Its easier to see dirt on the chrome than it is on the black. I personally think the black with the little chrome strips looks way better than just all chrome.

Ok, I do however wish I would of got 20s instead of 17s , the 20s require more braking power but look better

Heh, that made me laugh.

Answer me this, what would chrome wheels look like on a new F150 after being driven for 6 months without being *cleaned* ?

Answer: Black.

I rest my case

Ok... Im going to go with chrome, although i am tight on budget..

Does anyone know if a shop will charge me alot to mount the tires/wheels, have them balanced and what not, then install the leveling kit?

I think you have the right combination of tire size & wheel, but then again I like more sidewall on my tires, that's why I went with 18's over 20's.

I like chrome with chrome bumbers and black with painted bumpers. For you...chrome. In the end, never settle for anything other than what you want. You won't regret it.
