Anybody know about a Nitto warranty?

The other day I was running over a curb and my sidewall blew out. I know that this would not be covered by a warranty if there is one, but I don't exactly have $200 to go buy a new tire. When I bought the tires less than 2 months ago the guy told me that there was a manufacturer's warranty against defects, yet now he says there is no such thing on tires this big (315/75/16). Anybody have any info on this?

I don't know man.....check their website out..they should probly have some info on there. I like the way you phrased, "the other day I was running over a curb" like it is something that you do on a regular basis.....

I would imagine though that that would not be covered under man. defect....

Oh I run over more curbs than everybody I know combined. See I was getting Chinese food and it was pouring rain, so I decided just to drive right up to the front door. I was parked directly alongside of the curb. I put it in reverse and turned the wheel. Normally I could have made it over but it was raining so my tires just spun. I put it in 4LO (this is how intent I was on not getting wet) and punched it, and BOOM. It was great. I had people from all over the shopping center staring to see what blew up.

But anyway, I know this wouldn't be covered under warranty. I was just gonna try to play it off like I was driving and it exploded. And I did check their website before I started this thread and I couldn't find anything. I guess I'm just gonna suck it up and buy another tire.

sorry I am not trying to laugh at that cause it does suck.....but my favorite part to that story is that you were doing all that to try to not get wet and then in the end you must have ended up soaked cause you had to change the tire!!

Well my spare is like a 215/75, and my other tires are 315/75. Not to mention whoever owned my truck before me decided they didn't need to give me the tire iron for it. So I didn't change the tire. I have AAA so I just had to wait for like two hours to get towed home.
