when a tire rubs what

is it hurting the tire or something else, and when you talk about rubbing is it hitting the control arm or inside the wheel well.

it could potentially hurt both things. and it could be rubber the control arms or just the wheel well. it just depends on the truck and the tire

Yep, we need to know what exactly you are referring to. There is minor rubbing (that is hurting nothing) and major rubbing (where tires and sheetmetal are being damaged and everything in between.

They will rub the control arms at full steering lock. It won't damage anything. I'd be more concerned about the tire wear caused by running a 325mm wide tire on a 7.5 inch wide wheel. I'd suggest something slightly narrower.

I may be mistaken, but I believe all tire manufacturers recommend a minimum of an 8.5" rim for a 305.

Sorry, I thought I read 325/60's. A lot of members have run 305's on oem wheels with no problems even though they are a little too wide for the oem wheels.
