What tire to buy????

I have a 2004 fx4 with the 18's I have decided to go with either 285-65-18 or the stock 275-65-18 But i am undecided what tire to get here are the choices:
bf Goodrich 285-65-18 ta ko's
bridgestone duller revo's 275-65-18
Terra grappler's 285-65-18
any other suggestions would greatly be appreciate. I do some off roading but here in NM i do allot of skiing and higher altitude driving so traction in poor condition is a must.
thank you

If you are wanting to stay in a all terrian tire then the BF's and Nitto's are both great tires...wear well and look great.

All are excellent choices. The BFG's and Nitto's will work a little better off road than the Duelers.

I agree with the guy's above, BFG's, Nitto's and I'll throw in the Toyo AT's also!! These are great tires for everyday use and minor offroad conditions.

13,000 km's on my Firestone Destination AT's, and so far, I'd buy them again. They're super quiet for such an aggressive tread.

I don't think you'll be disappointed with any of the three but I'd suggest the BFG's.

Here's Tireracks survey on the top AT tires, so take it for what it's worth:

Notice the worst at the very bottom. Those are the tires my truck came with from the factory. I got rid of them pretty fast.

thank you but one more question

Are the bfg ko's or the nitto's worth the extra $250 for the set. I am still undecided on price vs quality on these three tires? But thank you for some guidance

One thing to look at is that the BFG's are a E rated LT tire where the Bridgestone's are a P rated tire for the extra money your getting a lot stronger tire. I've ran P rated tires and never had troubles with them however I don't tow a lot or carry heavy loads if you do this is something you might want to consider.

I've ran Goodyear and Cooper tires and just brought my first of Nitto terra's. There are worth the extra $$$. Their quite and great in wet or dry conditions. Can't wait till it snows.

I'm going with the nitto's in the next couple of weeks for my truck. 315/75/16 . The guy i'm buying them from has them in a 285/60 18 for $750 or a 285/65/18 which is a 32.5" tire which should fit for $890. Check and see if there good prices. Also discount tire direct has good deals on the nitto's in my opionion.
