Making sure this will work
Ok, I've searched and read countless threads on this subject and am pretty sure on the answer, although there have been some contradicting answers from members so I want to be sure.
I have an '04 Screw 4x4, I want to put BFG AT KO's under it, LT315/70R17. From what I've read these will fit on stock rims with little or no rubbing? I have the AS 2.5" level kit to put on, I know.
Next question is, how much would these tires cause the rear to rub if it was loaded down? I haul around some heavy **** from time to time and don't want that to happen. If so, anyone have any suggestions on good AAL kits to install?
Finally, in the future I'm going to get some new rims although I have no idea what yet, but I'm wondering what size I would have to buy to run these tires without adding a lift kit and without rubbing?
TIA.

If you put them on the stock wheels they may have a little rubbing on the upper control arm making a sharp turn. I had my 315's on some 17x9 wheels with 5" backspacing and they rubbed on the lower wheelwells when making hard turns at low speeds even after doing some minor trimming. A few months back I put them on some 17x8 wheels with 5 1/2" backspacing and no rubbing and that's even doing some not so rough offroading. I pull a 14' utility trailer once and awhile and try not to put too much in the 5 1/2' bed, but so far the squatting down in the rear has posed no rear tire clearance problems.
