Will 285s rub?

I don't think they will rub at all.
I have the same year truck and same size tires, except my truck is 2WD. I had a 2" front leveling kit installed so the tires would fit (they wouldn't without it). Being a 4x4, your truck is higher, so I think you have no worries. I have no rubbing at all unless I turn the wheel all the way to the left or right. My turning radius has been compromised, but only slightly. Well worth the look and feel of the truck.
As for power loss, you will notice a difference, but only while towing. My Bass Tracker 175 is a little more noticeable than before...
Maybe someone with a 4x4 will chime in.
P.S. I forgot about torsion bars (I don't have them). I strongly recommend leveling it out with your torsion bars. If you do that, I'm 100% certain you will have no rubbing.
Here are some pics:

I really don't expect that much of a power loss.
I got 3.73 gears and the 5.4L

People say it isn't the 44 cause it isn't black but I ask the guys putting it on if its the 44 numerous times and every time they said yes they're putting on the Super 44.
But it sounds great. When you first get it put it on its loud. Then after a few hundred miles it starts to mellow out, but when you step on it or WOT its loud as hell!

"I strongly recommend leveling it out with your torsion bars."
I disagree with using torsion bars for leveling the truck. Running your torsion bars up will have adverse affects on your tire camber. If you proceed with leveling it that way, I recommend you go to the tire shop and get your tire camber adjusted. I wore out two sets of 33" tires on my old truck until a friend brought this little discrepancy to my attention. Of course my old truck was a cheverolet (guilty) but after I went and had the camber adjusted, the problem went away.

As far as the rubbing goes, there will be none with the 285's. The only regret you'll have is that you will wish you would have moved up to the 305's like me. 305/65/17 looks the best on stock rims IMO. I lost 1-2 MPG moving up to the thirty three's. Nothing to complain about though...

a spacer is for the 2wd and 04 and up 4wd. you have a torsion bar system so you cant use it. if you crank your torsion bars you will be fine but you will have to get an alignment , also you dont have to crank them all the way but be sure to do it evenly on both sides. if you look at the bolts they may be in the nut more so than the other one, this is fine but you should still crank the bolts evenly. so if you do 2 full turns on one be sure to do 2 full turns on the other, and again, get an alignment. if you do this youll be fine. i have the 285s with no rub at all and i cranked the torsion bars 2 full turns and it added a little lift and now i have had the tires for 20k and you can see the tread wear is even. the truck does not pull and goes straight down the road. they did not rub before i did the crank, (a week after i got the tires i did it because i like the look much better) i got pictures on the link think on the right by my name. i think i figured out how to do that can you let me know if i did, the little camera thing by my info section on the right above my post. thanks.
