Exclamation Will they rub

I am looking at purchasing some 325/60/18 for my 04 FX4 supercrew with 18 rims. I willl be putting on aftermarket rims so there is more backspacing. The rims will be Moto Metal 951 series with 4.5 inch backspacing i believe. I also plan on putting a 2.5 AS leveling kit in the front.

I just wanted to know if any one is running this combination, they are 33/13.50/18 Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrain. I dont think they come in a 12.5 on a 33 inch tire?? I just want to know if there will be major rubbing i know some trimming may have to be done but what bothers me is if it is going to be major.

Any suggestions or comments would be great thanks

You should be fine. If there is any rubbing, it will be very minor if the wheel is an 18x9. Also, your OEM wheels have 5.5 inches of backspacing, so the MM wheels have an inch less backspacing.

Thanks you guys i really didnt want to have to get stuck with those tires, I seen your setup djh1121 and i think that it looked awsome, cheap way i guess without going for a lift. And Auto Spring is the way to go for the leveling kit??

Yeah, about a 1 1/2" cut off the inner fender flare. Also add a screw to hold everything tight.

how much worse do you think the rubbing would be on a wheel w/ 4.75" of BS?

After the trimming was there enough room to do any offroading?

Your truck looks NICE

Yeah, you will be ok, you may rub just a little when you hit hard, but nothing to worry about.
