Stock wheels

What you guys think? Still need to hit them with the wheel one more time. cant decide if I want to leave the windows painted, or strip and polish them too.

The pics a little out of focus, but you can tell they have a shine. If the "windows" in the wheel are rough cast, I'd leave them painted. It would take two forevers to polish that part to a shine.

I'd either paint the windows black or leave them as is.

What did you use to get the clear off and polish the wheels? How long did it take and what did you use to protect the finish from corroding?

I stripped them with standard paint remover, then sand them down with discs and a pneumatic rotory tool, then with the angle grinder with polishing wheels and jewelers rouge. It takes a bout 2-3 hours a wheel. The only coating is on the windows where I left the paint. The rest just have to keep polishing the old school way. Ill post some pics in my gallery tomorrow, I have to hit them again with the wheels after football.

Looks good. As mentioned before if the windows are rough cast it'd take forver to polish and smooth them. Black would look good as suggested. Maybe even white to match the truck??? That would probably be too much though..
