Best MUD Tire?

What is the best RADIAL tire for mudding? I don't care how long they last. I know everyone loves the toyos but I don't care about looks either. I would go with the boggers but I really don't like Bias tires and they break too much crap! So, Toyos and boggers are out of the question. I am going to go with something between a 38.5" and 42" tire. What are your opinions?

Nitto Mudd Grapplers, hands down. When We went wheelen the other day, there were guys in the mud just spppiinnnnninn, I put my in 4x4 L and could creep through the same stuff without spinning at all. I love these tires, they are a little loud, but the look great and they perform AWESOME on and off the road.

The Best Radial M/T's (in order)...

- Super Swamper TSL Radial
- Super Swamper Ground Hawg II Radial
- Super Swamper IROK Radial

Those would be my top picks. All the others fall much closer together and farther behind the above M/T's. There'd certainly be nothing wrong with BFG M/T's, Mickey Thompson MTZ's, Discovery STT's, Radial Baja Claws, or any other "run of the muck" M/T.

And Mud Grapplers, for the most part, are considered crap by the offroad community...

I have thought about it, but is it not difficult to drive on the road with boggers?

I love the Mud Grapplers! They are pretty expensive tho. I need something for a 15" rim. Its my toy and friday night cruiser so I really dont wanna bigger rim.

I believe one of the Super Swamper radial tires would be your best bet.

My buddy has them on his 79 ford. 37x15.5r15 and they are loud and rough, but very driveable and look mean as can be.

Yeah I thought them were pretty sweet when they first came out. I have not seen them in person yet. They are not bad on price either. Where abouts in Arkansas you live?

best mudders?

I had some Dunlop Mud Rovers, worked pretty good in the soupy stuff, and in the snow. cleaned out really well, and dug down when they needed too!
if you get those, i recommend siping the tires for added traction.
but i belive they only go up to 35"

He mudded the hell out of it before and never broke anything.....he would push them with a straight six with a 4 speed.....he has no problems pushing them with his new motor.
