Difference in ride?

For those of you that have changed your OEM 17" or 18" factory wheels and tires on a new style F150 to Harley 20's or Lightning wheels and tires, did you notice much difference in the ride with a shorter sidewall tire?

I went from 17's to 22's on my Expy and the ride barely changed. If anything it is better because the Expy's ride with the OEM tires was very mushy.
